Day-by-Day Itinerary
1LEH (ALT: 11500 / 3505 M) – ACCLIMATIZATION
Reach Leh by morning flight & get transferred to hotel. After freshens up take rest for acclimatization to the high altitude. Later in the afternoon explore Leh market & return to hotel at night for dinner & overnight stay.
2LEH SIGHTSEEING
Post breakfast visit Magnetic Hill, Meeting point of Zanskar River & Indus River and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Visit Spituk Gompa and the Hall of Fame during your return to Leh town. Have dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
3LEH – NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDONG LA PASS/125 KM
Post breakfast drives to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, The Highest Motorable road in the World. On the way to Nubra Valley visit Deskit & Hunder Villages and have Double Hump camel Safari in Cold Desert (On your Own). Have overnight stay in a camp at Nubra Valley
4NUBRA – PANGONG LAKE / 4080 M
Post breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake is situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet. In late afternoon reach Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Witness the changing colors of the Lake at high altitude. Have dinner & overnight stay at the camp in Pangong.
5PANGONG – SHEY – THIKSEY – LEH
Post breakfast check out from camp & return to Leh & on the way visit Shey Palace & Thiksey Monastery. On arrival, check-in at the hotel again in Leh for dinner & overnight stay.
6LEH AIRPORT DROP
Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel & you’ll be dropped at Leh Airport for further journey.
